UV Energy Meter (UV-int253): UV-int253 UVC energy meter is a high-quality ultraviolet energy measurement instrument. UV-int253 is an instrument used to measure the UV energy of UV sterilization devices. The main sensor of the meter is on the back of the meter, with a measurement range of 230~280nm. During measurement, it can be directly read on the display screen on the front of the energy meter (unit: millijoule/square centimeter). The power supply of this energy meter is a 3.6-volt lithium battery. Due to the use of special energy-saving circuits, this battery can last approximately 10,000 hours.

Safety Precautions

• Do not look directly or indirectly at UV lamps through refraction/reflection

• Ensure no part of the body is directly exposed to UV lamps

• This UV energy meter can withstand high temperatures, not exceeding 10 seconds on conveyor belts, temperature resistance 110°C

Installation and Operation Guide

Installation/Operation Steps:

  1. Turn ON the switch, then the LCD (display screen) shows zero
  2. Place the UV energy meter near the UV lamp source, try to align its back toward the light source (because the energy sensor of the meter is on the back), extend the irradiation time appropriately
  3. Until the display screen of the energy meter shows measurement readings, for example 800 millijoule/square centimeter (800mj/cm²)
  4. Turn OFF the energy meter switch (OFF), or set the display value to zero
